The author is a graduate of the Uskudar American Academy in Istanbul, and afterwards has received her undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Cornell University. Zeynep Kocasinan works in the construction sector. Since 2004 she has her own art studio and works also as an artist. She writes for and prepares articles for various Turkish and English magazines and newspapers, and also gives lessons and seminars on creativity and personal growth. Zeynep Kocasinan speaks English and Spanish in addition to her native language Turkish, and introductory level French and German. She is also a Reiki Master.
